1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible
1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Description
This is not a numbers matching car. I believe trans and rear to be numbers matching but not engine.
It is however a true date correct 426 Street Wedge convertible. Registered with Galen Govier as number 4 of 6 of all 1965 426 4BBL Sport Fury Convertibles built in his registry.
Engine built in 2007 by Marlin Bogner in Kearney Nebraska.
Approx 12000 miles on engine.
336 Horsepower @ 4300 rpm with 479 ft. lbs torque @ 3100 rpm. It will pin you to the seat.
It is a beast.
I had the car painted and interior redone several years ago. Both are in great shape. A small amount of rust was patched on both quarters. Wasn't bad enough to use the replacement quarters I have. Still no rust visible on repaired quarters. Car has been garage kept since I purchased it. You can see interior is not original. I did a design of my own. Very attractive but not original.
Shipping to be arranged by buyer.
I have extra parts also. Hood, quarter panels, lights, chrome trim, head light bezels, etc.
