1970 Plymouth Duster V8, Automatic, Lemon Twist Yellow
1970 Plymouth Duster Twister Package Added Description
Originally born a 318/V8 2BBL, 3 speed automatic transmission Duster. Originally a factory air conditioning car. The Twister Package was added at the time the engine was rebuilt. About 2000 miles ago. A lot of items were updated at that time. Its a huge list but I will list the important items. The engine was completely rebuilt with an Edelbrock upgrade kit added. Different cam, timing chain and gears as well as an aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock carb. A nice set of headers were installed as with new dual exhaust with the correct tips and in the correct outlet area. The entire front end has been rebuilt with new ball joints, pitman arm, tie rods etc. The steering box does have the usual little bit of play in it. Reminds you that you are driving an old Mopar. The entire braking system has been completely gone threw. Front disc brakes have new Calipers, rotors, brake pads brake hoses etc. The rear drum brakes are all new also. Drum, Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, Axle seals etc. ITS ALL BEEN REPLACED. The wheels are factory rallye rims with new tires on them also. All of its factory components work as they should with the exception of the temperature guage. Its been tested and the actual guage needs to be replaced. The two speed wipers work great. The AM radio in the dash still works. All dash lights, exterior lights, Dome light, directionals, horn work as they should. Even the key buzzer still works. One great old Plymouth. A Tachometer and Oil pressure gauges were added. Its a great cruise night car, ice cream getter or what ever you want it for. Please look at the pics closely. You will see how truly nice this car really is. Its not perfect but well above average condition. No surprises with this purchase. If you have to ask or speak with your wife, dog or priest PLEASE do so before bidding on my car. Vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranty implied or otherwise stated. I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time as I just listed it locally for sale also. Low reserve for a car of this quality. I will gladly assist in shipping or any thing else you would like. Car doesn't leave until all funds are cleared. Prefer cash in hand or wire transfer. Happy bidding and good luck.
On Oct-30-18 at 12:19:46 PDT, seller added the following information:I was just informed that due to having a C in the VIN number that this car was actually born with a slant 6 engine, not a 318/V8 as I had originally listed. So some time in its 47 years of life some one changed out the K frame and added a 318/V8. Sorry for any confusion.
