1970 Plymouth Duster 340 Description
Numbers matching 1970 Plymouth Duster comes with 2 motors - the original 340 and the Blueprint engines 408. This vehicle has been professionally restored (receipts & build documentation included) and built to perform.
The front suspension has been replaced by an RMS Alterktion with coil overs and rack & pinion steering. This setup cuts weight and provides clearance for the TTI 1-5/8 headers. Willwood 4 piston, drilled-slotted brakes on all 4 custom Torq Thurst Ms.
This Duster is painted Plum Crazy Purple with special sports striping and blacked out hood. Exterior of the vehicle has been professionally inspected with all panels and gaps measured. The exterior shows the signs of typical wear and comes with correct OEM paint.
Blueprint enginers Chrysler 408CI stroker engine assembled by Sterling Hot Rods with 475HP/500 ft lbs of torque with Edelbrock aluminum heads & Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam.
Torqueflite 727 3 speed automatic with Hurst pistol-grip, 2500 RPM converter, completely rebuilt rear end with Moser axles.
All electrical wiring replaced with custom 21 circuit electrical wiring throughout the entire vehicles with wiring diagram for future bolt ons to include EFI, A/C, etc. LED lights in the front, MSD -6AL digital ignition, battery relocated to the trunk.
The interior has been stripped to bare metal and enhanced with sound deadener and heat shield underlayment applied to add insulation before new carpet and headliner installed. Equipped with stock rallye dash bezel, working tach and instrument cluster. Speedometer has been calibrated. Vehicle comes equipped with working front and rear seat belts, CD player and 4 speakers (2 in front sail panels, 2 in rear pad).
Odometer reads 84k miles with less than 500 on new engine and transmission.
