1970 AAR Cuda for sale. You know what these cars are already so I will present this car and keep it short and factual, omitting a history lesson on T/A cars and sales pitches, etc.

This car is a great project, very solid western car. It is loaded with options it has 3 fender tags, 2 option tags and the TRANS AM tag. I have registered it with the AAR Registry and Challenger T/A Registry. This car was an ordered when new as verified by the SO number on the fender tag. No broadcast sheet was found.

As of September 2017 this car is one on 12 AAR's in the registry with PRX9 leather interior.
Numbers: Original VIN tag riveted to the dash pad, original Fender tags, cowl and core support stampings. Mylar door sticker present but the jambs are painted black. The sticker is covered in paint and I have not attempted any paint removal. Door is original orange inside under the panels. Titled in my name with both keys.
Engine: NOM T/A engine from an AAR. T/ABlock, T/A heads with rockers & pushrods. Long block complete still assembled from a running vehicle. I have the correct air cleaner, intake, carbs, exhaust manifolds, exhaust heat shield left side, valve covers, oil pan, windage tray, oil filter adapter. All in excellent shape, not used up rusted garbage. Original muffler hangers still on the car.
Transmission: numbers matching and completely assembled still in the car, correct numbers bellhousing, fork, clutch torque shaft, and pushrod. Clutch pedals in the car with the clutch switch installed.
Interior: original rally dash with no cracks or flaws in the dash pad. Dash fully assembled with Road lamp switch. Leather seats, Cuda door panels, floor console, overhead consolette and Headliner board. New tips for the door ajar switches. I have a serviced and functional AM 8 track radio out of the dash, complete pistol grip shifter, six way seat track with original floor braces still installed.
Body: extremely solid west coast car, never wrecked, very solid and intact car, no corners knocked off of it. None of the common rust problem for these. Untouched underbody floors and frame rails, old and dirty, nothing hidden or covered up. Was never undercoated from the factory. Original paint on interior floors with Excellent four speed hump and floorpan, original body panels, both doors open and close very well with no sagging at the hinges. Trunk floorpan is removed, car was walnut shell blasted and sealed with DP40. There is no bondo or filler in this car. Has minimal rust in lower quarters behind tire, trunk extensions will need replaced. Hood is origianl with washer squirters and cowl seal. Little to no warping, the springs are off the car but included.
Body panels & trim: I have nice Original trunk lid, rear valence, Dutchman panel, Taillights. BE&A reproduction AAR grille in black. Nice used road lamps and brackets, original rear antenna and cable, good chrome bumper cores.
Suspension: all original with the front disc brakes, 11” rear drums, sway bar, 489 case 3.55 sure grip, matching driveshaft, rear sway bar. Has set of nice 2944390 rally wheels with light cone centers.
Underhood: correct 2998974 radiator, brake booster and check valve, master cylinder K frame with coin, brake lines and valves.
I have owned this car for 15 years, I did not take this car apart or remove the trunk floor. There are sure to be missing pieces and hardware. If you don’t see it ask I have many boxes of parts for this car. I have purchased many parts this car was missing. I feel this car is a very worthy of a restoration with its options and how solid it is. It’s just not in my future with age and health concerns.
