1957 Plymouth Belvedere Description

You are bidding on the classic 1957 Plymouth Belvedere. Very cool look. Big fins, tons of chrome. It will probably be the only one at your next car show/cruise in. Of course, plenty of room for friends and family. The miles of 51746 are said to be original. Vehicle was a very unmolested solid example prior to the extensive restoration. Complete tear down prior to professional repaint. Still retains its original color of burnt tan metallic/alpine white. All weather strip was replaced at the time as well as polishing and/or replating of all chrome. Excellent original tinted glass, nicely redone interior, all factory, even retains the working AM radio. Very, very solid example, clean underside. Description as follows:

Exterior:
* original paint colors, nicely done in base/clear finish
* very nice chrome and brite work, a few hard to find pieces were left as original with some very minor pitting.
* correct style bias ply wide white walls with factory hub caps, matching spare as well.
* Vehicle was completed a few years back and driven sparingly, very minor wear and tear. Still a trophy winner in my opinion.

Interior:
* Nicely restored to original specs, once again very minor wear and tear since completed restoration.
* All factory gauges, dome lights, wipers, heaters work even down to the AM radio, with the exception of the fuel gauge which is non-op.
* nicely finished trunk area with matching spare, once again, very solid, no patches or repairs.

Mechanical:
* original 301 V-8, predecessor to the now popular 318.
* push button automatic trans
* Factory style single exhaust
* manual steering and brakes
* newer suspension, brake lines, recent front end rebuild
* runs and dries very comfortably
