Immaculately restored 1 of 429 Plymouth road runner convertible
1970 Plymouth Road Runner Description
This car has had an extensive rotisserie restoration roughly 10 years ago with mostly N.O.S. parts and looks like it was completed several months ago. It is that nice and was done correctly. 383, 727 console, bucket seats, 6-way seat, tic-toc-tac, black performance hood paint, Airgrabber hood, black rear transverse stripe, pedal dress-up, correct chrome exhaust tips, triple chrome plated bumpers, polished stainless, correct for convertible tire jack, trunk and engine compartment are detailed to perfection. Undercarriage is just as nice as the body and is extremely clean. Power steering, AM radio, factory ignition reminder buzzer still works. Brand new Good Year Polyglas tires with steel wheels and Plymouth Division hub caps and ralley wheels are included. No broadcast sheet was found and the engine is not numbers matching. The car scored highly at the Chryslers at Norwalk and was also invited to the MCACN. One of the finest in the country. I've owned 3 of these and this one is by far the nicest and I am familiar with most of the remaining ones having been active in the hobby for the last 45 years. No warranty expressed or implied. I have the right to end the auction early as the vehicle is also listed locally.
