1972 Plymouth Road Runner 400 Description

Up for auction is my 72 Plymouth Road Runner.

A real 400 Road Runner.

Very solid western car restored/refreshed maybe 8 years ago.

Not a numbers matching engine, currently has a 69 383 that was rebuilt tostock approx. 2300 miles ago. Believed to be 335 hp. Runs very well, fast smooth and always starts. has Holley 600 Carb, electronic ignition, headers andexhaust done at engine rebuild, has crossover and sounds great.

Not sure on trans rebuild but shifts as should. Original rearend.

Power steering and brakes, was a factory A/C car but is missing underhood components.

No known leaks on car

Body, Floors, Trunk, Frame Etc all rust free and solid. There is evidence of a small repair on left quarter down low right behind tire. Only see it from in the trunk. Does not appear or handle like its been hit.

Paint is Original color SherwoodGreennice and shiny and reflects well but has a few imperfections and a couple small touchups, I would call it driver quality. Great for the cruise or local show. Door jams, inner fenders, etc. is original paint.

Interior was originally green, but has been mostly refinished to black. Steering wheel and lower dash still original green. No rips or tears. Has dash cap. Good headliner etc. Missing rear armrest pads and dash needs finished. Console in nice shape. Slapstick shifter.Speedo not working.

Lights, switches, heater, stereo and all other gauges work.

Wipers work but I need to findwiper blades

Original 14 inch rallywheels withnice tires.

Windows allwork and are in nice shape. Door and trunkrubbers were replaced.

New suspension bushings shocks and misc parts.

Factory trim tag, dash vinand body stampings in place.

As stated starts right up and runs very well, stops steershandles as it should. Doesn't overheat and no electrical issues.

Over all a nice clean ready to go realRoad Runner, great car,not show quality but certainly great looking, fun to drive and collectible.

In person or 3rd party inspections are fine. I will assist in getting it on a shipping truck if needed.

International sales areok.

1972 is a great year for the Road Runner and prices are almost sure to climb.

Priced to sell, bid to win.

Please email with questions. Ialso have more pictures available on request.

I bought it to play but not using it.
