1975 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 Description
This Firebird Formula 350 was Purchased off of the Showroom Floor in 1975 in Sacramento, California. It was Built in Norwood, Ohio.It Remained in the California Climate in Sacramento Area of California until My Purchase of it From the Second Owner on Dec. 31, 2012.Upon Purchase, I Contacted the Original Owner Listed on the Included Warranty Card. I was Given the Purchase History, and things Done to the Car by The First Owner. He Purchased it Straight From The Showroom Floor in 1975. He Held ownership of the Car forTwo years. He then Sold It to His Best Friend, Who had AClimate Controlled Indoor Warehouse on the Property He Lived on in Sacramento. The Second Owner Only Drove the car Vary Occasionally. During His Ownership, at 16,000 Miles, and Some 20 years later. He Decided to Restore The Car, andPut Over$10,000 into bringing her back into Condition. The things That he had Done to the Car was to Refresh the Drivetrainwith all New Seals, Engine, Transmission, and Rear End. He had it Re-Spayedin the Original Honduras Maroon,G.M. Paint, That it Came From The Factory With. The Interior was Redone professionally, with the Factory Correct Deluxe Black Vinyl. It included Seats, Carpets, Door Panels, Head Liner in the Perforated black Vinyl, And Rear package Shelf Tray. Sadly The Second Owner Passed Always. Upon His Death, it was Decide by His Widower, That the Car would be Best Sold to Someone Who Would Care For the Car, and Appreciate it's Ownership. I Then purchased the Car. The Car was Found to be of Original Condition, and Most importantly Mileage Correct. As I went Through the Car to bring It back to Driving Condition, I was In, Out, and Through Every Inch of this Beautiful Classic. I was Amazed By the Originality, and Condition of this Classic of 41 years. Not a Drop of Fluid, or any Leaks, Anywhere! Some Modifications Made to this Car by the first Owner Where, that he had Removed the Original Rochester Carburetor, And Purchased and Installed a Holley 4 Barrel 670 CFM in 1975. This has Been Verified By Holley Carb.Company by the Listings on the Carb. Things that I have Done to the Car Include the Following: A New Magnaflow Exhaust Was Added, With HighAFlow Catalytic Converter, Y Pipe, Series 80 Muffler For an Aggressive, But Not Too loud of a Tone, And Dual Outlets. New Bf Goodrich Radial T/A Tires 255/60/15 All Around. Every Fluid Draine, and Flushed Form Front, To Back. An Upgraded Panasonic AM/FM/CD Player with Rockford/Fosgate Speakers Under the Shelf Package Tray installed, A New Fuel Pump, The 1975 holley was Rebuilt Professionally, A new Gas Tank Was Installed, AndNew Brakes All the Way Around. I have Owned this Beautiful Classic For Over Three years, and Six Months, And Have Truly Enjoyed Her. Driving Her Only 2,600 Miles Since Her Purchase, On December 31st of 2012. Every thing on her Functions as it Should, And I Am Leaving her In Almost AllThe Original Condition That She Came From The Factory Born By, Right Down To the Original Smog Equipment. Although She is Smog Exempt. The Only Thing That is Not Functional is TheAir Conditioning. All the Original Equipment Is Still In the Car, and Should be A Simple Fix (Frozen Clutch, And Recharge).
