ONE OWNER 1975 TRANS AM 455 HO 4 SPEED 82K NUMBERS MATCHING EASY RESTORATION
1975 Pontiac Trans Am Description
THIS IS THE WAY YOU WANT TO FIND A RARE TRANS AM SURVIVOR
SOLID NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, NE OWNER, OT RUSTY, RIGINAL ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. RESTORATION OF THE HARD PARTS IS DONE ALREADY. SEE THE PICTURES.
A SOUTH DAKOTA GIRL GOT IT FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION IN 1975. (OH TO BE SO LUCKY)
IT WAS BORN A SILVER BIRD AND STAYED THAT WAY TILL THE MID 90s WHEN IT WAS PAINTED BLACK AND GOLD
FAMILY TOOK IT APART A FEW YEARS AGO FOR A TOTAL RESTORATION.
THE ORIGINAL OWNER DECIDED IT WAS TOO MUCH PROJECT AND SHE SHOULD SELL IT SO SOMEONE ELSE COULD ENJOY THIS AMERICAN TREASURE AS MUCH AS HER FAMILY DID FOR 40 YEARS.
I HAD A PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION SHOP DO THE FOLLOWING:
PROFESSIONALLY SAND BLAST ALL FRONT END PARTS INCLUDING COMPLETE SUBFRAME. AND PAINT ALL PARTS INCLUDING SPINDLES AND A ARMS. WITH BLACK EPOXY. UPPER AMD LOWER BALL JOINTS REPLACED WITH NEW. PROFESSIONALLY PRESS IN NEW BUSHINGS. AND PUT THE CAR BACK TOGETHER ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS THERE.
SEE THE PICTURES UNDERNEATH THE CAR. THE FRAME RAILS ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. FAMILY DID NOT SAVE THE CARPET AND HEADLINER. WE PHOTOGRAPHED THE GREAT FLOOR PANS. THESE ARE ORIGINAL AND NOT REPLACEMENT ONES.
REPLACED WITH NEW FORM FITTING CARPET AND HEADLINER.NEEDS NEW PAINT AS THE CLEAR COAT IS COMING OFF AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES.
ONLY RUST FOUND WAS IN THE TRUNK AS IT MUST HAVE HAD A LEAK.
EVEN THOUGH THE 455 HO ENGINE WAS RUNNING WHEN THE CAR WAS TAKEN APART I GOT A QUOTE OF 2800 TO BUILD THE ENGINE TO LIKE NEW. 4 SPEED DOES NOT NEED REBUILDING.
THE INTERIOR IS ONLY DRIVER QUALITY AT THE PRESENT TIME.
AIR CONDITIONING AND TILT STEERING. THE ORIGINAL STEERING WHEEL WAS MISSING WHEN I GOT THE CAR. BIRD HORN BUTTON WAS THERE THOUGH.
CARPET WAS MISSING SO IT WAS REPLACED WITH NEW BLACK FORM FITTING CARPET.
SEE PICTURES I TOOK OF THE SOLID ORIGINAL FLOOR PANS. SOUTH DAKOTA DOES NOT USE MUCH ROAD SALT SO LITTLE RUST.
THESE ORIGINAL SURVIVORS ARE INCREASING EVERY DAY IN VALUE. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR YOU TO OWN ONE. COULD BE A $40,000 CAR WITH THE RIGHT RESTORATION. THE BUY IT NOW IS WHAT I HAVE INVESTED IN THE CAR SO FAR. IT HAS A LOW RESERVE SO BID EARLY.
