I am the second owner of the car which was purchased new on Long Island, New York. The first owner had driven the car only 21000 miles from new until 1999 when I bought it. He had never driven the car in the winter time and never let the car sit outside. Since I have owned the car I have added another 7000 miles to it. Today the car has 28xxx original miles. The car has always been stored indoors and never driven in inclement weather.
The car is Seafoam Green with a white Landau Top and white bench seat interior. All components are in excellent condition.
The car is not perfect, there are some small dings on the body and the front bumper rubber stripes have some cracks in them.
It is completely original except for new tires last year. A fresh battery 1-2 years ago. New muffler and tail pipe 1 year ago. Fresh tune-up with new plugs and a K&N Air Filter 1-2 years ago. New R134 A/C installed in 2002, it still blows ice cold. A few years ago the rear bumper fillers cracked and started falling apart so I replaced them with the correct parts and painted them to match the car.
Today the car starts easily when cold, idles smoothly, drives, steers, stops, and handles like a new car.
It is an excellent example of a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix in near pristine condition.
