1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula Description

ONLY SOLD WITH 14" RALLY WHEEL'S(17" WHEEL'S R NOT AN OPTION).

MANY OF U HAVE SEEN THIS CAR LISTED PREVIOUSLY IN A PKG DEAL WITH MY '74BIRD.

AND I HAVE HAD 23MESSAGES ON THIS CAR ALONE ASKING IF I WILL SELL IT SEPERATELY(EVEN 3 OUT OF COUNTRY MESSAGES ON IT), WELL, HERE'S A 1 TIME CHANCE TOOWN IT!

AND, AT ONE VERY "FAIR" PRICE(IF U R A CAR-GUY U KNOW THIS IS A "DEAL" FOR THIS BABY), I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO SEPERATE THE PAIR BUT HERE IT GOES, $8,750.00 FIRM!!!

TRY FINDING A BETTER DEAL ON ONE, ESPECIALLY ONE THAT RUNS/DRIVES AS GR8 AS THIS BABY DOES!

1971 Formula:

It's a MATCHING #'s car!

And, I'm told by previous owner that motor was rebuilt just a few k mls ago and that mtr is bored out a little bit(and the way it runs/drives I can c/feel it)!

THIS THING WILL HAUL A$$$!!!

I MEAN, THE LAST TIME I DROVE IT(3 WK'S AGO), I WAS ROLLING ALONG AT 30MPH, NAILED IT, AND I COULDN'T C ANYTHING IN BACK OF ME FROM ALL OF THE RUBBER THAT THE TIRE'S BURNED!

What's really impressive is, car had sat for 5 year's until last year and NOTHING has been done to carb(which was put on new 5 year's ago so I'm told, it's a HOLLEY), anyways, it's just soooo accurate that it almost feels like a fuel injected car/mtr?!

Besides the left front brake caliper being a little sticky at times, I'll give the cars' run/drive a PERFECT 10!

AC was cold, ICE COLD in fact, however, it stopped blowing cold air so I tried adding some 134 to it(it's been converted) and system is full, compressor is engaged, so, I'm betting that orifice tube is clogged(TYPICAL)!

Mtr compartment looks GR8!

It's by no means show quality and if u want a show car then of course u r going to do a lot of detailing to it BUT as is it's presentable, driver's quality!

Trans, rear end, and front end ALL feel GR8/TIGHT!

Interior is overall DECENT-NICE!

Driver's seat has a little cut on bottom pad(super ez to address), I'm guessing seat covers have been replaced not too too long ago, seat padding is super comfortable, carpet is brand new, it has brand new $150 GM BLACK floor mats, it has a brand new reproduction T/A FAT RIM strg wheel(horn cap is used tho), I addeda T/AFish Scale dash bezel for my liking,it already had a nice and gr8 working vintage digital 2 knob cassette stereo(I added oldskool brand new 6x9 speaker's to rear), headliner for the most part is in good shape but it's sagging at rear some and also on left sail panel(lower left sail panel is brand new).

Driver's door panel is missing a clip or two that holds it on?, so door panel catches whenever u open its door a little bit(I honestly haven't addressed because if not sold I'm going to change cars' color so panel's r coming off anyways).

So, interior wise, its biggest PICK is typical cracks on dash pad, however, it does have a dash overlay(which the sun/heat has now warped a little).

This pretty much raps up its interior!

And now, the exterior.

Car has some rot/rust on bottom front fender's(but patch panels fixes this, FOR SURE).

Cars' WORST rot/rust is from U KNOW WHAT, THE VINYL TOP!!!

MOST DEFINETELY it does NOT need any new panel's!

These can be easily metaled in the same way that my Green car was fixed(last pic).

There was some previous damage to rt qt panel so this panel needs to be worked some.

Also, there's a dent up on top that looks like it will easily pop right out.

Hood is fiberglass and it's in nice shape minus 1 vent tooth needing a repair.

Front nose was completely restored(minus trimming).

Previous owner spent $5bill's alone having it restored so this is a nice addition to any future restoration!

There is a little rot/rust to some of passenger's side floorboard so if u r just wanting a driver quality car u should be good to go but if not, then u could easily just replace that side for CHEAP $!

And, trunk floor has a couple of very minor rot/rusted places BUT in my opinion, patch these up and NO WAY would I replace trunk floor(these places r in edge at center, not like center of floorboard, I had to look hard to c, no big deal).

I know and u probably know that ready to go this is a $20-$25k car all day long(even more $ if u make PRISTINE)!

I like driver quality car's personally(because I never really drove the 'show car's I've owned)!

Oh, and this is a pwr window/tilt strg wheel car.

Wheel's have been restored(have new trim rings/center caps). And tire's have plenty of tread left!

IT'S AN OLD CAR SO I'M SURE I'M PROBABLYMISSING A THING OR TWO BUT FOR THE MOST PART I HAVE DEF NOTED THE IMPORTANT STUFF(I THRIVE ON HAVING GR8 FEEDBACK, JUST WANT TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE)!

I will require an immediate nonrefundable$500.00 PayPal deposit if u hit my buy it now and then full balance will be do within 3 business day's.

Also, I can recommend a fast/reliable auto transporter if needed.

Thanks for looking.
