1954 Pontiac Chieftain "Tin Woodie" Station Wagon! Description

***NO RESERVE AUCTION!*** This is a real N.C. "Barn Find!" Hi, I have a complete 1954 Pontiac Chieftain Special "Tin Woodie" station wagon for sale. (three row seating!) Clear NC title! My plans were to build a "Surf Rod" with it, but other needs have forced me to change my plans. These cars are getting scarce these days, and becoming harder to find. All glass is in the car, but most will need replacing. (or Rat Rod it as is!) The front bumper is in the car, complete with guards and brackets attached, ready to bolt back on. I also have a "new old stock" front bumper valance panel that will be included! The car is amazingly straight, with only small amounts of old bodywork! (see photos!) The front clip is just sitting on the car, as the previous owner took it and the bumper off to remove the original "Straight Eight" engine and automatic transmission. They are both available to go with the car if you'd like to keep it original! I'm still searching for the beltline trim, and will include it, if it turns up. All five original wheels are included, as well as two of the original hubcaps. I will include fender skirts with stainless trim, that I bought for it, as well! The car has rust, but not too bad. Rear bumper is bad, but replacements are readily available! Some floor work has been done. The rear back-up light panel below the tailgate is the worst part, but one of the easiest to replace. I have a complete, running, low-mileage (66,000 miles!) Cadillac 390, with four-speed "Jetaway" automatic transmission, that came from my personal 1962 limousine, that can be purchased separately. This car is a project, but would make a way-cool custom, in the right hands! Please note: This car is for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to remove this listing at any time! Bid to win, or contact me for a "Buy it now" price! Thanks for looking!
