1946 pontiac Streamliner Silver Streak Coupe
1946 Pontiac Other Silver Streak Description
Up for sale is my 1946 Pontiac Streamliner Silver Streak. I am the third owner and it has been kept in a heated garage. Theodometer reads 36,770 but I am not sure if it is correct. 1946 Pontiac Streamliner is rare and hard to find so don't let this one slip away. This car is very original down to its tube radio that still works. The paint is the factory paint and looks good for being 81 years old. I think there may have been some touch up done on thepaint back in the 1960s. But there is no putty or filler in this car at all. It does have some nicks and small surface spots that I never did anything with for I wanted to keep it original. The motor is a 249 eight cylinder that runs well. It does smoke when first started. The air cleaner is not the one that came with the car. This car is very solid and has never let me down going to car shows or Sunday cruising. The interior could use some work there is a rip in the headliner and some wear on the top of the seats. (See Pictures) Included is the original owner's manual and paint chart. This is not a show car but a survivor from1946.It is not perfect and can use some love and care, but is all there. Please ask questions and I will try to answer the best I can.Five hundred dollar deposit is due no later than three daysafter end of auction. Thanks for looking.
