1975 Pontiac Grandville Broughm Convertible Description

1975 Pontiac Grandville Convertible. This was the last year for GM's full size convertibles other than the Cadillac Eldorado. This car is equipped with the Pontiac 400 V-8 with a 4 -bbl carburetor. It has Turbo Hydramatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, PowerSeat, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Control Cycle Wipers, Factory AM-FM Stereo, Ralley II Wheels, Steel belted Whitewall Tires,Drivers Side Remote Sport Mirror, Passenger Side Manual Sport Mirror, Body Side Moldings, Door Edge Guards, Floor Mats and more. The car has 79,000 miles. I have been told by a mechanic who was underneath the car, based on what he seesthat he believes those are the original miles. The car was originally sold in Harrisburg, PA and it has remained in PA its entire life. As a result, it has been subjected to annual PA State Safety and Emission Inspections. In PA, when a safety inspection is performed, the wheels are pulled off and the brakes are inspected along with the exhaust system and suspension parts. Any item that does not meet specs must be replaced to pass inspection. I purchased the car in 2002. When I got it, there were several things that weren'tright or that didn't work.I have fixed everything and everything works. The Airhas a new compressor and worksgreat. I replaced the cruise control unit. I also replaced the stereo speakers with new factory speakers. There are many other things I have fixed or updated. All repairs were done to factory specs. There has been nothing done to the car to customize it. I have documents from Pontiac Historic Services which includes a duplicate of the factory dealer invoice and window sticker. For some reason, I was unable to upload it but will email it upon request. . The car runs terrific, quiet and smooth. I am selling it because weare downsizing now that we are retired so one by one, my toys are getting sold.

To anybody interested in my Pontiac, please be advised that prior to listing my car, I applied to the State of PA for an antique license plate. In order to do that, I had to send the car title back to the state so they could reissue one as an antique. I have not received the title back or the license plate and am concerned that I wont have it when this auction is completed. Everything I have ever done has always beenabove board and I don't want the winnerof this auction to think this was come kind of scam because I don't currently have the title. I will be getting it but it may take a few more weeks. I applied for the tag on May 17th and have the receipt from the auto tag place as proof. If you are within 250 miles of Philadelphia, I will be glad to deliver the car to you.
