1970 Pontiac GTO Description

1970 GTO CONVERTIBLE 455 W/RAM AIR 3 HEADS. This car was restored in the early 90s and has been continually garaged since 1981. This was an original 400 but the motor was replaced with a 1970 455 YS motor with a set of 1970 Ram Air 3 heads. The motor was rebuilt at 30 over, transmission was also rebuilt, its original, both has less then 3000 miles since being rebuilt. This GTO has just been moving from garage to garage and taking some bruises along the way. The interior was also restored and new top as well (new 25+years ago) still really nice, since its not been driven or left outside. In 1983 I found a scrapped out 70 GTO JUDGE, I took the glove box emblem, ram air three heads, blacken in grills and rear spoiler and put on this GTO. This car never had rust, just some dents in the rear quarter panels, found some rust free LeMans quarters in the day and had a body man replace them. The front fenders and doors were always rust free. The floors are in great shape, just surface rust and the truck nice as well, see pictures. All the shock, springs, ball joints and exhaust was replaced. Thistireswere new in 1983 and are still on this GTO with lots of tread, but dry rotted. I has power steering. brakes. tilt steering andwood grain wheel with custom seat belts. It has a 355 limited slip original rear end. So it needs to be repainted, tires, blinker front and passenger site rear tail light. Very nice GTO when finished, selling as is.
