1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA 5.0 WS6 LOW MILES, T-TOPS

79k original miles, this Firebird is a great unmolested, low mileage turn key car that has been extremely well maintained. Ready for summer cruise nights, local shows, daily driving, etc.

Exterior:

The white paint is in very good overall condition with one repaint. The contrasting two tone white and gray color scheme provides a crisp look. The paint has a gloss finish and shows well. There are a few minor chips and scratches here and there as would be expected of a car this age. The tires are newer with plenty of meat and the 16” stock wheels are also in good condition. The rear spoiler is original and in good condition. The decals and striping on the car are in good condition. All of the glass is in excellent condition.

Interior:

The interior is excellent condition. The dash has no cracks. The upholstery and carpeting is in very good condition with no rips or tears, the door panels are solid with no cracking in the upper door panel plastic. All gauges, lights, blinkers, power windows, horn, work as they should. The headlights go up and down properly.

Mechanical:

The engine is the original 5.0 V8. The engine bay maintains its original stock appearance with no modifications. Mechanically the car is in excellent operating condition. The 5.0 engine starts right up, idles well, and accelerates without hesitation. The engine is smooth and has good power. The transmission shifts are precise in all gears. The car tracks straight, handles, and is a pleasure to drive. The brakes are in good working order. The air conditioning blows cold. I have taken the car on multiple 75 mile + trips – it’s a great cruiser - runs consistently at 180 degrees all day and levels off at 215 degrees in slow traffic. Easy 26+ mpg gallon on the highway and cruises at low 1800 RPM at 70+ mph. The undercarriage is in very good overall condition, no leaks.

Summary:
