This PRO STREET 1974 Pontiac Astre/Vega is truly one of a kind. what you are bidding on is a custom built PRO STREET Astre which has under gone extensive body modifications which entails stretched rear wheels wells to fit the huge 31x16.5x15 tires, aised front wheel wells with custom rolled inner fender lips. the custom bumpers have been fitted perfectly and tucked nicely into the body and both front and rear windows have been flush mounted. Both front and rear valances have again been custom fabricated, he rear allows the exhaust to exit in the center. Full 4" fibreglass hood allows the 383 ci Stroker (stroker kit by Scat) to fit nicely in the engine bay after the fabricated firewall was moved back.

The 383 stroker engine has Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, olid roller cam and lifters, ew demon 750 carb, illet air cleaner and top pans, hrome alternator,chrome water pump, hrome pulleys, hrome fuel pump, nd MSD distributor. Backing this powerplant is a Turbo 400 transwith shift kit, nd 3500B&M stall converter. Engine has been painted Pepper green to match the exterior.

Fabricated rad support holds the Griffin three core rad - Griffin trans cooler,and the Flex a lite electric fan assembly.

Putting the power to the ground is a Bears chrome moly driveshaft mated to a narrowed Bears Dana 60, :10 gears, 5 spline axles, apable of 2000 hp. Held in with a Chassis engineering 4 link system, nd bolted to the full tube chassis again from Chassis engineering. Front suspension contains tubular upper and lower controls arms.

Stopping this beauty is no problem with a Wilwood master cylinder and pedal assembly, ilwood disc brakes up front and Bears disc brake assembly on the rear. Inside is a Lokar emergency brake assembly.

The interior is fully customized with full roll cage, ully customized dash panel with Autometer gauges. New headliner and custom carpets with exact fit and finish. B&M shifter assembly with line lock control button, ditit steering column modified to the correct length, merican Autowire harness and fuse panel as well as Vintage Air heater. Finishing the cockpit are two Kirkey alum race seats with RJS 5 point harnesses.

When you lift the hatch lies the 12 gallon RCI fuel cell with working fuel gauge and Taylor aluminum battery box.

The custom dual exhaust contains Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, ith 2.5" Mandrel bent piping and stainless tips.

The period correct Pepper green base clear paint and Centerline wheels finish this beauty off. Only 234 kms since completion, verything new! Fully street legal, ight down to the wipers and horn.
