1968 Pontiac Catalina Description

1968 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon

Has the original 400 engine and transmission. Good running and driving car, cruises nicely down the highway. Turns heads wherever we go.

Odometer has 34,081 miles on it. This is subject to change because we do drive it.

Interior is in very nice condition. The dash doesn't have any cracks. Some sun fading on back panels and seats. Interior is all original except for the carpet that has been replaced.

The car has factory air, but the belt is off. We have never tried using it, but the pump seems to turn freely.

All the glass in the car is good, and it has a brand new windshield.

Tilt steering column.

Front and rear windows roll up and down as they should. This is the last year for the vent windows, which crank in and out. Rear power window works from the inside and on the key switch on the tailgate, but it rolls down slowly like they all do.

The body has been repainted in the past and has had some touchups since then. I wouldn't consider it a show car, but it does shine up and looks good going down the road. It's a great car to drive and enjoy. We get a lot of compliments on this car. A lot of people like to share stories of similar wagons they had as a kid.

We put new coil springs and high performance shocks on the front and rear. It rides great.

It has a nice dual exhaust system that sounds healthy.

The wheels are extremely rareSpyder Motor Wheels, especially in the 15" size. They fit the era of the car really well, and they get a lot of compliments.

We require a non-refundable deposit of $500 through PayPal within 24 hours of the end of auction. You will have 7 days to pay the balance by cash in person or a bank wire transfer. You can arrange shipping; I will do whatever I can to help get it loaded.

This car is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties, expressed or implied. If you would like to ask any questions or inspect the car, please do so before bidding.
