1990 Pontiac Grand Prix Description

One of 2100 built. McLaren 3.1 liter engine was different from the stock GM unit starting with the block. 20% nickel was added to the block casting along with a small amount of tin for greater integrity. They added high flow aluminum heads, special crank, pistons, forged rods, high capacity oil pump, oil cooler, performance stainless steel exhaust, reworked 4-speed AT and topped it with a Garrett T-25 intercooled turbo. ASC finished it off with wild (for the date), cladding, scoops and functional vents. Unique to the LG5 option wheels, rally tuned suspension, Teeves/Bosch ABS braking, heads up display (first production car to have HUD), four place bucket seating, the front have near infinite adjustments, leather and a much higher grade of hand applied paint. It was Motor Trend car of the year, and the Daytona 500 Pace Car.

This car is museum quality, all original, never been in an accident and sure to take an award if shown. Leather is soft and supple, lenses all show as new, evidence that this car has never spent much time outside. Always garaged kept, never been down a dirt road, smoked or eaten in.

The original paint is near flawless, with a depth and eye hemorrhaging brilliance that defies its age. Absolutely rust-free California car since new. Driving the car at night is a sight with everything backlit in red. It’s like driving an earthbound Gulfstream! I tried to capture this in a picture, but it is a far cry from seeing it in person.

Runs and drives like a new car. Everything works as it should, ice cold A/C. Every box was checked at order, this vehicle has everything. This car has been meticulously over maintained and needs nothing. Comes with all the books, documentation, two sets of original keys and keyless entry fobs, lockout key cards, even the original factory cassette tapes
