Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1981 Formula which is in beautiful original condition inside and out with only 72,966 actual miles. There are no known production numbers for 1981 Factory 4 speed WS6 Formulas made but this is believed to be a very rare car and personally the only one built this way that I have seen. This Formula features mostly original paint and decals which still shows well, an original red deluxe Pimloco cloth interior, and the original numbers matching 305 engine, see photo below of vin stamp on engine. This Formula is extremely solid and was sold new in California and remained out west for most of its life and has great lines and gaps and has no visible rust on body or frame. We have seen no sings of rust or rust repair on the car and underneath is extremely clean and solid and not spray bombed with cheap spray paint. This Formula is finished in the beautiful and desirable factory colors of White (code 11) over red deluxe Pimloco cloth (code 75B) interior. This is the factory color scheme as indicated on the trim tag pictured below. Also this Formula is loaded with highly sought after factory ordered options.

Exterior

The exterior is in amazing original condition. This Formula is believed to still have most of its original paint and decals and still shows well but does have some patina due to age. The paint is in great original condition with no signs of visible rust and both bumpers are in good shape shape but do show some flaking or faded paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires are like new and have excellent tread left and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and the Turbo Aluminum wheels are OEM originals and are in great shape with no curb rash and the lug nuts and center caps look new. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire, trunk mat, and jack. All the glass is “LOF” factory original.

Interior

The Red Pimloco deluxe cloth interior of this Formula is in terrific original condition. The original seat covers are in excellent condition with only one small repair on drivers seat. The carpet is like new with no stains, rips, or holes. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The stereo has been upgraded to a Kenwood digital am/fm cassette which works and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern cd player. The door panels are original and in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is like new and in excellent condition. The package tray is in excellent condition as well. All interior/exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The horn, power windows and wipers also work. Even the cigarette lighter is still working. The power windows work and this Formula also has tilt wheel. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Formula is in good mechanical condition and very importantly the original numbers matching engine is still in the car with only 72,966 actual miles . In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Formula is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. The 4 wheel disk brakes have recently been overhauled and do not pull and stop as they should. 4 new shocks have also been installed. The exhaust looks factory correct and the catalytic converter is still in place. This car is a blast to drive with the 4 speed transmission and WS6 and F41 handling packages. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos and very factory correct and unmolested. This is a factory AC car and all the AC components appear to still be on the car but the AC seems to need a charge to work properly.

The Vehicle is being sold by a Licensed State of Ohio Dealer (Cincy Classic Cars, LLC). You will need to check with your local government for any special rules regarding these older vehicles passing any inspections. We will not be held liable for any vehicle not passing inspection.The vehicle is offered with a right to a personal inspection by any bidder or agent. If you are the buyer and unable to inspect said vehicle immediately, you or an agent will have seven (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. We welcome a physical inspection to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All disputes arising out of or resulting from this sale shall be finally determined by binding arbitration in Cincinnati/Milford, Ohio in accordance with the commercial rules of arbitration of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be carried out by one or more arbitrators in accordance with said rules. Any award shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in the same manner as judgments. This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Ohio law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Ohio to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through EBay or otherwise.
Payment Terms:
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A deposit in the amount of $950.00 must be received within Twenty-Four (24) hours of the auction close typically by PayPal ( PayPal for deposit only NOT for full payment). Purchaser cannot make any claims of ownership to said vehicle without payment in full. The buyer has seven (7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If an inspection or decision takes longer than seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within seven (7) days of the auctions close. Documentation Fee: There will be a $150.00 domestic and $250.00 international fee added to each car sold. This includes title transfer, inventory tax, holding costs, vehicle preparation, storage and priority documentation delivery.
We will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left our property. We are just being realistic; most of the cars we deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and your expectation should not be of a perfect, new car. Once full payment has been received, Seller will mail a copy of clear title, Bill of Sale, Buyers Guide and additional BMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via mail. The fully-executed forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle.

Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received.
Warranty
