1972 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Description

This is a rare original Formula 400. Original color is Brasilia Gold, Beige Cordova top with Saddle interior. Original numbers matching engine and automatic transmission. Only missing items are air cleaner, AC compressor and radio. PHS shows this is car came equipped with AC, an AM radio, pwr steering, disc brakes and TA gauges with Custom trim group. Original ram air hood in good condition.
Rust/rot as shown in the photos, mainly in passenger rear quarter and roof. Also rust in bottom of driver rear quarter, tail panel and driver front fender. Driver door has been replaced and i also will provide a rust free trunk lid and OEM roof (if wanted). All floors are minor surface rust only! Engine is stuck but according to the previous owner it is not locked-down.
Car does not run or drive and must be towed. Tires will hold air to allow loading. I have a clean title in my name. No warranty given or implied. Buyer has 7 days from end of auction to pay for and pick-up the car. $500 deposit required within 24 hours.
If you are familiar with these cars, you know that this is one of the rarest year models due to the GM labor strike. There were only 4,167 built with an automatic transmission.
