1981 Pontiac Trans Am Daytona 500 SE Description

1981 Trans Am Daytona 500 Special Edition, 2000 made and the only model with the Recaro interior. Car has been taken car of most of its life and the condition shows. 70,000 miles are believed to be original but in the state of Texas mileage is exempt.
Body: Overall in great condition. Paint is older but still shines up nicely and looks good. I would say car is 98% rust free with only a few minor spots on the floor but nothing needs replaced. They are so small I wouldn't even pull the carpet to fix. A couple of bubbles around the hood but it is from the paint lifting, not rust. All panels appear to be original, trunk is rust free also.
Drivetrain: Trans am operates and drives very good. Engine looks to have never been out of the car, tranny shifts smooth and rearend makes no noises. Really nothing to do mechanically to this car. Tires are in good shape and have a lot of tread on them, 4 wheel disc brakes operate as they should.
Interior: Interior is in great shape. No rips or tears in the original Recaro seats. Carpet looks original as do door panels. Drivers door panel has a rip in the carpet that you can see in one of the interior pictures but that is about it. All gauges are in working order and windows roll up and down nicely.
All in all a great car for the money that is only going up in value. The only Trans Am with this interior to separate it from the rest. You really can get in this car and drive it anywhere. I took it on a 100 mile drive last week and it did great. Inspection sticker just expired in January so it is road worthy. Title is clear.
