Engine: 400 CID V8 335HP, never rebuilt! Engine has been resealed with hardenedvalve seats installed, oil pump, cam, timing chain, cam replaced. Original Intake manifold replaced with a Edelbrock piece that was painted Pontiac Metallic blue to match the engine. Fuel line is aftermarket due to intake manifold change. (I do not have the original intake) Carb should be a 062 Carb I believe, this one is a over the counter exchange.
Trans: Th-400 rebuilt with mild shift kit.
Rear End:3.08 Positraction
A excellent original GTO that is documented with Original Owners Manual, Protect-O-Plate, 58,000 original miles...highly documented!
One repaint years ago...car still looks like glass. This was a Georgia car most of it's life and therefore is rust free. Original floors, trunk, 1/4 Panels (P/N inside trunk jam).
Convertible top is like new, very tight and well fitted. New boot (black) included, forgot to put it on when I took the pictures. Also I have Rally II wheels and tires for the car if the new owner does not like my Torque Thrust D's.
Interior shows very well, no rips, tears, ect. Piping on passenger seat where you get in is become exposed in about a 4 inch area.
Chrome, Stainless is very nice.
Car runs and drives great, all lights, signals, etc. work as they should. Car does not smoke, shake, rattle, ect. Nice tight low mileage car.
I purchased this car from the second owner, he bought the car in Savannah, GA from the original owner in 1979. The car has had one repaint, one top replacement, is arrow straight, rock solid, and super tight.
If you have been looking for a 67 GTO Convertible...this is it. Find another one like it, at any price...
