1968 Pontiac Firebird Description

Matching Number 1968 Convertible Pontiac Firebird.
Rare: Original Color, matching # Car
Odometer reads approximately 35,000 miles.
This car runs, drives and looks awesome. Gets an unbelievable amount of attention on the road, in the driveway, at the gas stations as well as at car shows, where it's always the only one.
It has the original engine that runs great. It doesn't appear to have ever have been worked on and still runs great.
I still have the original radiator that is in usable condition, but just in case, I replaced it with all an aluminum one, however, the original one still works fine.
I had it repainted years ago because the paint was fading. The paint shop used the Red paint code on the cowl tag to match the original color.

It's even got the original AM radio. It turns on, but there are no speakers in the car to listen to it.
Interior is in great shape with original steering wheel. This car did not come with factory A/C, but the blower works just as it should. Very minor surface rust in a few spots...almost unnoticeable unless it's pointed out.
This is one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. But the more I drive it, the more I cherish it and treat it like a show car because it's so rare. I would like to see this car go to someone who understands and appreciates such an investment, as the prices of these keep going up.
I was at Camaros of Houston recently, and they said, because of it's condition, it's worth anywhere from 40k-100k.
It's not a frame off restoration, because it's not necessary in it's current condition. It is about as nice as an original 50 year old car as you'll ever see.

To state the obvious, for those few of you that like to nit pick, please remember, this is a 50 year old car, not a new car, therefore, somethings should be considered "consistent with age" and there is no warrantied expressed or implied.

When I took the pics, I forgot to get a pic of the top up. The top is in great shape, it is black and opens and closes as it should.
For those interested, I have owned this car for years and I have a clean title in my name.
I may consider trades, but they need to be of same value.
