Hey everyone! My name is Alex and Im helping a friend sell a few of his cars out of his collection. they are listed on various sites. If you are interested and would like to know more, PLEASE pick up the phone and call Al at 815-685-3487. If you text, he will likely just pick up his phone and call you. (hes the type to carry a flip phone, hence me helping him list them online) The prices are negotiable within reason as we all come to expect, however if you plan to lowball, please dont waste anyones time. Below is further information, all of these cars have been very well taken care of and will not disappoint any interested buyer. If you would like you can also text me at 815-450-8771 if you refuse to pick up the phone and have a conversation.
This car was a specific build, the original owner grew up around a shop that built these cars for racing, so he built this for somewhat nostalgic purposes with the 421 engine as well as other custom aspects not found on many other Catalinas. The build cost was originally over $75k and this car really is impressive in person. I HIGHLY recommend picking up the phone and discussing details if you are even remotely interested in buying this car.
This is a built 1963 Catalina Convertible 421, with a 421 Superduty Engine, 428 Pistons, 428 Crank, a 4 speed manual transmission, cut out exhaust manifolds to allow for open headers, $5,000 Italian Leather, and 12 1/2 compression requires a 50/50 mixture of gasoline (half racing fuel, half premium gas). This Catalina convertible is in pristine condition as you can see in the pictures. It has under 1,000 miles on the car since the restoration. you wont find it anywhere else!
