1965 Pontiac GTO GTO Description

Let me tell you about this car. It’s a 1965 GTO clone/tribute car. It's nice but not perfect (I would call it a 10 foot car, it looks good 10 ft away so its nice, but not perfect, we will discuss that more below), but its well on its way for someone who loves this muscle car.

There is so much NEW on this car, I can't list it all, but I'll give you an idea below:

NEW Plugs, Wires, Distributor, Radiator

NEW Starter, Ignition Coil, Carburetor, Water pump

NEW Alternator, Fuel Pump, Heater Core

NEW Exhaust and Muffler

NEW Wheels NEW Interior NEW Paint

Rebuilt 400 Pontiac motor (50 miles on it)

Rebuilt Transmission Powerglide (50 miles on it)

And a ton of little things We are into this car well over 20K, so anything less than that is a screaming deal! You know how it goes, it starts out as a father son project car, but after a year and a half the son has lost interest and mom says its time to stop spending money on the old car, so its time to sell it. Our goal was never to build the perfect show car, it was to build a cool car and make memories along the way. So to try to give you the most accurate description of the car here is what I would say: -the engine isn't the 389, we went with a 400 out of a later year Pontiac -the body and paint work weren't done to show quality, there are some small flaws with both but my son started to lose interest at this point so both were done to a good level not a great level -the hood doesn't sit completely flush, its about a half inch off on the passenger side, see picture (should be a pretty easy fix, we just never got around to it) -the interior isn't exactly a GTO interior, there aren't any GTO emblems on the door panels, instead we went with a black with blue stitch look to match the outside of the car since that is the look my son liked -we didn't do the dash yet, so the dash still needs to be done, along with the stereo -we didn't do the normal outside GTO emblems, you will see the vinyl graphic instead on the rear quarters and nothing on the front quarters, and we didn't decide what we are going to do on the trunk emblem -the rocker panels aren't on yet, we have them but they need to be straightened out and polished so that is left to do -the brakes stock work awsome -since we have only put 50 miles on the car since all of the engine and tranny work were done we are sure some of the parts will need to be dialed in and fine tuned but the car has driven fine the first 50 miles we put on it Hopefully you can tell we are trying to give you an honest assessment of the car so you know what you are bidding on. A great GTO that's a great head Turner and so fun to drive (as you can see from the pictures), with a lot of new major parts so someone looking for a cool car that they can finish and put a little minor small finish work in to it I would be a great driver. This is your car.

Its Dec, so get that Christmas gift you always wanted, a cool muscle car that will turn heads as it is, but will allow you to work on it in the spring and make it your own car. Let us know if you have any questions, since we would love for it to go to a good home.
