1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula Description

This car is all original. Has new tires and 53,xxx miles. Everything on the car works except for the air conditioning but that's due to lack of Freon. If you jump the low pressure switch the compressor cycles and the condensing fans activate. I'm sure if you put some Freon in the system it would cool. The car starts and runs great and the automatic transmission shifts fine. There is no leak from any part of the car except for the valve cover gasket leaks a small drop or two. The alternator has been rebuilt and the battery is brand new. I think it may need a new thermostat but I'm leaving that to the new owner. The original am fm radio works but I'm not sure about the tape player because I don't have any tapes. This car has no options except for air con and cruise. There are no speakers in the headrests on this model or power windows or sunroof. The formula sticker on the drivers side came off. You can see some clear coat fade on top and imperfections. Only one scratch on bumperShown in pics. Pontiac sticker on back fell off. Only thing this car really need is some attention to the paint clearcoat. It shines well but has some issues with rain spots and bug marks. I would put new window rub rails on the top of the outside doors as they are starting to crack but usable. Doors do not sag and all the warning lights dash lights and chimes work. That's all I can remember for now. Ask any questions. These are hard to find. This car was made in June 1988 and productions stopped in August so this one was one of the last with all improvements made.
