1988 Pontiac Fiero base Description

Up for sale is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero Notchback. It is a 5 speed, 4 cylinder car with AC that currently isn't working for some reason and I haven't had time to trouble shoot. I installed a new compressor and dryer along with new o-rings last spring after blowing out the system with cleaner. The old compressor had a leak around the shaft. The AC ran perfectly all last year but this year not so much.
The car has a sunroof, power doors and windows and they all work. Odometer shows 71,000 but the car actually has about 160,000 miles on it. Was told the gauge cluster was changed out but the odometer wasn't updated. The engine runs goods. It has a 7 year battery installed last October. Window tint was professionally installed before I got it.
The problem is rust in the trunk area. You can drive it as is or restore it. I recently moved to Fenwick Island Delaware and do not have anywhere to work on the car. The HOA will not allow me to work on the car in the driveway. Also the e-brake is not working due to the brake caliper but I do have a replacement caliper that goes with the car.
It has a lot of upgrades like stainless steel brake and gas lines the previous owner installed. Also has stainless braided brake hoses. Has a recovered GT steering wheel. The tires have plenty of tread. The passenger seat is in great shape, the drivers seat has a wear spot from getting in and out and is visible in the included picture. Also the console has a tear on it from getting in and out.
Overall this is the 12th fiero I have owned and it has been very dependable. I have lots of odds and ends that go with the car. As mentioned above the car is a driver as is BUT the trunk will need some attention eventually.
If you are wondering why I am selling the car, I recently bought and RV and will be traveling around the country. Not sure I am coming back to live here.
The car can be picked up in Fenwick Island Delaware (19975) or the buyer can arrange shipping. You can actually fly into Salisbury (Maryland) airport and drive the car home. I will be happy to pick you up at the airport which is about 40 minutes away from my home.
