1969 Pontiac Firebird Description

1969 Firebird Trans Am Tribute
This is a beautiful 1969 Trans Am tribute. lots of work, fast!, drives great, no rust. straight body. beautiful! This car has been built and upgraded as a driver. Intended to use every day or just on weekends. Drives great, starts easily and every time. Does not overheat like most of these old big blocks. list of some to the upgrades listed below:
-Pontiac 1970 455 Engine with new intake, cam, 4 barrel carb.
- Mufflers of of a 2016 camaro that allow for an exhaust bipass when you step hard on the gas - vacuum actuated. This car has a beautiful mid rumble at idle, sounds great driving down the road - not too loud. can still talk to my lady just cruising, but SCREAMS beautifully when you want to make it go fast!!! Fantastic balance of old school rumble and loud V8 with the speed!.
- power breaks with front disk upgrade. Original rear drums - this combination provides perfectly equalize breaking
- new convertible white top with glass rear window
- new original style interior - extra lumbar support in drivers seat, drivers seat has extends to allow it to move back 3' further than stock.
- original AM radio converted to am/fm blue tooth (may favorite tweak about this whole car).
- upgraded front and rear suspension and stearing. Handles great and holds the road.
- Riddler 17" rims with new tires. wide in back, stock width in front (not too skinny in the front)
- note stance. Yes, the car has been lowered a few inches, but please note the slightly lowered front end - yes, I'm an 80's guy.
- electronic ignition
- aluminum 4 core radiator - this car does not overheat in traffic
- added shoulder belt for added safety - this feature was an option in 1969, but there is no record of ever being purchased. So the original bolt points are there and new shoulder belts are available. I installed a set.
