1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM WS 6 Description

This Trans Am is a true daily driver as opposed to a driver grade car. It has had its motor, transmission, and other systems updated to the point it is reliable and will start right up and run great anytime. It runs is good as it looks. Most stock second generation Trans Ams have 200 horsepower or less which is embarrassing for such a beautiful sports car. My Trans Am has good power upgrades like aluminum heads, hydraulic cam, EFI, headers, torque converter, and more that lets it run with current model Mustang GT’s and Camaros while adding reliability. Stock 2nd generation Trans Ams look great but are slow, unreliable, and gas guzzlers. My car is fast, reliable, and gets fair fuel economy for what it is.
The interior is like new. New deluxe seat foam, new deluxe heated seat covers, new dash cap, new console, new carpet with Dynamat sound dampening, new Vintage Air modern air conditioning system, new SpeedHut Gages that have LED backlighting for safe night driving, new Quicksilver ratchet console shifter, tilt wheel steering, new Bluetooth retro stereo system with subwoofer, and the list goes on. The car appears new inside.
The second generation Trans Ams are easy to get parts for. Almost every interior and exterior part can be purchased from catalogs almost anywhere in the world. This is an ideal car for export or here in the US.
All Domestic and international inquiries on the car are welcome as long as you can afford it and are willing to be in the general neighborhood of the asking price. There are plenty of other Trans Ams out there for $20,000-$25,000 that look good but will require investments close to the acquisition cost or more along with years of suffering to get to the level of being a true daily driver. 40-year-old cars require a lot of modification and modernization to be reliable. Rebuilding the motor and only a small part of it.
