1969 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ Description

This is a very nice rust free original SJ that was shipped to a CA dealer on 4/18/69 with many options including the special paint "Castilian Bronze" and a 428, 370 HP engine. Only 17% of the Grand Prix's manufactured in 69 were equipped with the 428. When you consider the SJ option, the special order paint and a rust free CA survivor...this is a rare find! To see all of the options ordered on this vehicle, please see the window sticker included with the pictures. It appears there has been one repaint that is holding up well, very shiny and presents well. There is a small chip on the hood with a couple of other small defects shown in the pictures. The interior appears to be original with some wear showing on the driver's seat, also shown in a picture. The AM radio has been replaced with an aftermarket CD but the original has been kept and will go with the car. The engine is the original with the matching VIN stamped in the block. The mileage is actual and there are no signs of rust on the frame or body panels. There are two small areas under the trim for the vinyl top that I mentioned earlier and can be seen in the pictures. I'm selling this for a friend who is reducing his collection, this could create a slight delay with answering any questions. He purchased this vehicle from a collector in NC in 2010 and has only put about 1,000 miles on it since purchasing. The car is available for inspection and is encouraged. Thanks for looking and your interest!!
