1965 Pontiac Tempest 2 Door Sedan
1965 Pontiac Tempest sedan Description
As I was saying, I purchased the Tempest from a Salvage yard in Roswell New Mexico, during a auction, it was sitting next to a U.F.O. Originally this car was a 215 CID 6 cylinder with three on the tree.I do have a bill of sale from the auctioneer, and started the process of acquiring a title that included a vin inspection by New Mexico MVD, the Tempest has been out of there system, and did not come back stolen, well to me it did not matter for it was never going to be a street car anyway. I will provide you with all the paperwork that I have acquired. I did Take the Tempest to the track, still need to work out some ignition/timing issues. I have not started the Tempest in almost 2 years, consider this a non-op. I am in the process of downsizing my Pontiac stable due to a recent back surgery. The Tempest would not make a good restoration to many things have been removed and cut. The decision is yours to make, all the parts in the car make it worth the price alone. From the new 400 engine to the T-400 trans with shift kit and convertor, to the 4:11 12 Bolt rear with Yukon axles, and other vintage race parts.you could not get a car to this point with the price I have. Bid to win PLEASE no dreamer bidders. My loss is your gain. I will answer any questions, more than happy to work with your shipper. Can deliver to the Moriarty T/A truck stop to save you on shipping. Zip is 87035. I am also including in the sale a lot of extra parts that may make the car streetable such as instrument cluster, heater duct assembly, front bumper, and rear seat core and extra bucket seat, wiper motor and wiper transmission and original fuel tank. I have even lowered the price.
