1966 Pontiac Bonneville hearse Description

Seldom for sale, a 66 Superior built PONTIAC Coach bought new by Thorpe Funeral Home in Thorpe, WI. Lessthan 30 Pontiacs were built duringthis year.Car starts and runs great. Electronic distributor and a large base Quadrajet has been installed. Needsa small base Quad installed or air filter adapter so stockair cleaner will fit. Motor idles and runs as smooth as any and has good power. Trans is solid. The body needs work, has lower rust and has some older repairs. It needs a floorboard and has the typical rust at the frame turn up in the rear. Sections need grafted in. All the glass is good. It needs a bit of wiring work as the ground wires and or bulb sockets are likely corroded or dirty. Headlights work, tail lights maybe. Has original key switch in dash, but lost the key.One can be made for it. Currently hastoggle and pushbutton start installed in an existing hole. Paperwork and factory books are there as well as the metal plate to Thorpe F.H. The interior is amazingly good, The black and silver paisley upholstery is nice.Rear headliner needs some tears repaired. Vinyl flooring is decent, needs re-glued in spots.
