1978 Pontiac Trans Am Description

Thanks for looking. This is an exceptionally clean garage kept 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. We are consigning the car for a friend of ours. All liability is on him as we are just advertising the car for him. It retains the original numbers matching carb, block, heads, intake etc. It was originally and automatic car but someone changed it to a manual transmission at some point. It was done right. It even has the plastic filler panel under the dash specific to a car with manual pedals. It has a very nice older driver quality paint job with the usual parking lot dings and a few cracks in the bumpers. It has some minor rust in the rear lower driver quarter and typical rust in the corners of the dash. Floors are amazing. The rest of the panels are clean. We installed new door panels, carpet, headliner, stereo and alternator. Previous owner replaced the camshaft with a much more aggressive profile. Odometer is showing just a hair over 3000 miles which means it probably has 103K miles on it. It needs a good engine detail and exhaust which we will do before the new owner takes delivery. A non-refundable $500 deposit must be made within 24 hours of the auction's end. Buyer must arrange shipping. Car and title will not be released until all funds have cleared the bank.
