1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible Description

Very Original 1969 Firebird Convertible. I purchased from the original owner and it showed only 72,000 miles. Now has 78,000 miles, I do not have any supporting documentation other than the word of theoriginal owner however it does drive like it should given the miles. I've owned this car for 12 years and have really enjoyed driving it. It is in driver quality, really fun to drive, and still gets a lot of looks, and has beensomething I didn't want torestore as it has a really neat patina to it. However, if you want a show car it would need a full restoration, and it's a reallystrong base to start a project with. Its been a great and dependable driver for all those years and has been maintained accordingly so that I could drive it up north in Michigan during the summers. Its been stored inside for all the years I've owned it.
Options on the car that are nice are:
1. Console and Floor Shift
2. Power Top
3. Full Gauge Package - all work
4. Functional hood tach
5. New 400 style hood with open scoops
6. Rebuilt Transmission
7. Torque Thrust wheels
8. Eagle ST Tires
9. Formula style steering wheel
Maintenence - I have had the transmission rebuild a few years ago, and have always changed the oil. Also, the full brake system was redone a few years back which included all lines. The car is fully operational at this time.
Depending on your desires you could do more, and yes there is some surface rust on the bottom and there would be some rust repair needed in a few areas (typical areas like on the wheel wells). I really suggest you come and look at the car or send someone before you bid as the description of this car is to the best of my ability and I am sure that you would find things that I may not. So the responsibility for reviewing the car is yours and once sold I will expect you to follow through on the purchase. You can email Gordon if you want to discuss any issues with the car.
Disclaimers:
Car is sold "as is" and "where is", the car has a clear title, transport for the car is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Please don't bid to just look at the car and please do ask all the questions you have in advance. All sales are final, no returns.
