1968 Pontiac Firebird Description

SALVAGE TITLE.This firebird was always in the dry Central Valley of California. It was purchased in 2003 by a Father and Son after a light front ender & they did what I would describe as a barn resto. The car was repaired and painted red. Apparently the firebird was originally pink, which is very unusual. The engine is original to the car and the PHS docs all verify the vehicle is a Formula 400 with matching engine. There are spots of rust on the hood and down low on the quarters. It was restored to a good driver level 15 years ago and has stood up well for being outside. The paint shines but has flaws and chips. I get plenty of compliments & thumbs up in the red bird. Recently the previous owner had $7000 dollars in maintenance performed too bring it up to snuff. There is an electrical gremlin that keeps the car from starting easily after its warmed up. I believe the starter or solenoid is the culprit. Usually I would have the repairs completed beforehand, instead we brought this to you now since many of us are home. This is a great car that runs out well and doesn't have creaks and groans. The steering is tight and the handling is good. I picked up my kid from school in the roaring red firebird and the Prius parents were horrified. That made my day. I will add more pics and videos or can send them direct if needed. We have shipping contacts and the title is here. Harris
