1988 Pontiac Firebird GTA Description

1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA * Located in Poughkeepsie NY 12601.Yes, its missing some GTA specific Parts, I will go into detail of what I know below. Read everything twice before asking questions that may already be answered here. Car is not all dolled up or cleaned for the photos. Clean title/car fax.
Full Running/Driving/stopping semi-project or drive as is. Clean Car fax, shows 2 owners. Car shows 30,3xx Miles, but I believe a mistake was made when the car was first titled. Car fax shows 40k miles on what appears to be the 1st time it was titled in Jan 91. Im fairly certain the person mistakenly entered the mileage w/ tenths included making it most likely/probably 4,022 miles at that time.No accidents reported. But yes, the GTA fenders are not here. Why? its a mystery. Also front seats are incorrect non-gta. but fit the car and are manual adjust. Original GTA Radio also swapped with different radio, The steering wheel controls do not work with this radio. Radio seems fully functional otherwise and speakers sound great. Also the original gold wheels are not on the car. They do seem to be the correct TA Wheels in black w/ new tires put on 4 years ago and show only a few miles on them since.
Console Sheet is present and does show Y84 code, as well as WS6 code, 4 wheel Disc, 3.27 LSD rear (see pics) Has Proper GTA Leather glove compartment

Ok now for history that I know of, as well as body/paint issuesStory from recent owner who had it 4 years (latest owner on Carfax)was he got it not-running as a garage find where it sat atleast 10+years. needed injectors so those are newerCar then mostly sat outside w/o being driven for those 4 years. He said he put new tires on, so they are 4 years old but are basically new/few miles on them and proper size 245/50/16major blemish would be the passenger quarter panel- see pics. not sure how something gets like this but that's how it is now.rear spoiler also has some paint loss/flaking. Otherwise the car doesn't have many issues w/ paint and body . Paint cleans up nice. no rust noticeable. wheel wells appear undercoated.ive driven the car only a few miles since its not on the road, and it runs and drives nice, I added 7 gal of fresh 93 octane w/ a touch of sta-bil additive, and gas gauge hasn't moved or is inop. Sometimes at idle when revving it will studder a bit. im sure a full tune up would benefit greatly. Engine/exhaust has a nice rumble. not sure if its stock or slight exhaust leak.
