1981 Pontiac Trans Am Description

I have owned this Trans Am for five years. It put a lot of money into the body. Any rust was cut out and replaced with new metal not bondo. I was planning on keeping this car because of how rare it is. They only made 2000 Nascar Pace Cars. How many are left ? This one still retains it's original interior which is still in really nice shape.
The passenger window is a little slow. Good heat. The a/c was disconnected when I removed the motor so it will need to be recharged. I just replaced the sending unit and replaced the fuel lines. Brake lines are all brand new. I just put new door weather stripping and the window sweeps that go between the glass and doors. New door handles and locks.
Crack free exhaust manifolds (common problem). Engine was rebuilt and is numbers matching. Currently running a brand new Holley carburetor (no choke) with a GM HEI distributor. Original carb,distributor,and ECU are included with the sale. I also replaced the sending unit located in the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump.

The car was just painted base/clear and wet sanded/buffed. New decals were just added. I have a lot of pictures of this car when it was taken totally apart. I removed the sub frame, cleaned and painted and replaced all the bushings. The wheels were also refinished.
The interior is all original except for a brand new carpet. The interior is in very nice shape. The headrests with the netting have no rips. The dash is crack free. The door panels are very nice.
The front end is all completely new. New ball joints, new springs, etc.. There is an aftermarket alpine stereo in it. I don't have the original. My plan was to keep this car but I bought another rare project and I want to start working on it. This car presents very well. You will get a lot of attention at any car shows or just driving around.
