1963 Pontiac Bonneville Description

This is my 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. 389 Automatic, power steering and power brake car. Clean/Clear Colorado title in hand. Overall this car is SOLID! Solid frame, solid floor-pans with no rust and has just a small bit of rust in the right rear quarter before the wheel well, and a few pinholes in the trunk pan near the tail pan area of the car.. But for a convertible, which are usually rotted beyond belief, this car is SOLID, body panels are solid!. The convertible top frame is all there, but the center bow seems to have a small bend in it, almost like someone set something on it. Should straighten out with little effort. I have a lot more photos of this car but eBay charges a lot more to add more photos, so if there is a specific photo or area photographed, let me know. I may have it or can take it. This car belonged to my late father, whom had a restoration shop but passed away suddenly in 2016. My father was smart about how he stored cars, and he removed the carpet and pulled the floor plugs out of this car so that the floors would not rot away. IT WORKED! My father owned this car since 2006, and I have title documents that go back to 1991 that all put this car in Colorado. I found receipts for a new timing chain set, distributor cap, points, rotor, plugs and wires in my father's car file for this car. The car ran when he purchased it, however it looks like the gas tank had taken an impact by backing onto something and now the passenger side exhaust has been disconnected from the exhaust manifold for some unknown reason. The engine is a 1963 389 (Non number's matching) and the engine code is "36P" which is a 1963 303hp 389. Someone at one time prior to my father purchasing it put a 2bbl intake on the car though. The engine spins over freely. The car still retains its original Harrison radiator! This car needs restoration, but everything is there and I don't think it would take much to get it running and driving, then focus on the rest as you drive it. . I don't know if this car was an original 8 lug car, but it has 8 lugs on the rear, and I have a set of 8 lugs for the front. The front grill shell is damaged and I have another one that goes with the car (VERY hard to find). I also have a second trunk lid that goes with the car, as the trunk lid on the car is damaged. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction end, and the balance is due within 7 days of auction end. I WILL NOT accept the balance via PayPal, the balance will need to be paid by wire transfer, cash in person, or certified bank check. I have sold a lot of cars on eBay and several buyers have been first time "needing to ship a car" buyers and it was not difficult for them to find a shipper. You are also welcome to come pick up the car in person. I will store the car, where it is at, for up to 30 days free of charge to the buyer. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car sells locally. Thanks!
