1977 Pontiac Trans Am Description

Here we have one of the most sought after cars of the 70's. The Iconic Special edition trans am aka Bandit car from Smokey and the bandit. Not only is this a true Y82 Tans am from the factory but is also a W72 400 Performance pkg equipped car with a close ratio 4spd manual transmission. This is the best and rarest drivetrain available for 77.....What makes this car truly special is the fact its a unicorn and was built with a factory WHITE interior. This is fully documented thru the cars original buildsheet and window sticker. I cannot get a hard figure from anyone but I've been told there can't more than 10 built. Ive only heard of 2 others besides mine that exist. Also this is a low option NON AIR CONDITIONING car whis is desirable these days for collectors. The car is a true survivor wearing 90% of its original paint and decals. There are some areas of thin paint and a few nicks and imperfections but all around its a great example. The engine has never been apart or removed from my knowledge and runs like a dream. Nice chatter free clutch. 323 rear and cruises down the road @70mph all day long.40lb oil pressure and never runs over 180 degrees. It has a aftermarket 8 track radio since day 1 that plays fine. All the original paperwork from new comes with the car included also is the receipt for the zeibart undercoat applied when new. Please call me @ 267-246-6903 with any questions or for an appointment to come see the car and drive it for yourself.YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTEDIts a great unrestored car thats 44yrs old.
