1971 Pontiac Firebird Description

PHS Documented 1971 Lucerne Blue Trans Am 455 HO

You are looking at a very nice 1971 Pontiac Trans Am in Lucerne Blue with white stripe. They only made 2,116 Total Trans Ams in 1971, with most of them being white with the blue stripe. Only 1969 and 1972 T/A's had lower production numbers than 1971.

This car came from the factory with Power Windows, A/C, Tilt Wheel, Power Steering, Deluxe Interior, Automatic etc. Red Line rebuilt the gauges a few yearsago and they work fine. All lights in dash and exterior work as they should. Radio has been replaced to a modern radio with Aux input, but mimics the look of the original radio. She hasAir Conditioning, but it is not working and I never had it checked.

The engine is the 455HO, which is not numbers matching, but runs strong. Transmission shifts very nicely and has a mild shift kit. Exhaust has a nice rumble, and fits the car very nicely with Stainless Steel pipes. The exterior the car looks very nice! It has a couple ofvery small flaws in the paint, but is a very appealing car and attracts a lot of attention at any show. I drive this car to many shows every summer, and feel very confident in the reliability. I won an award at every show I have ever entered. Entire wiring Harness was replaced in 2012, as well as the original Gauges restored from Red Line. New front Grilles, Headlight Bezels, and door handles. Car has the Rally II wheels on right now, Not the Honeycombs seen in some pics.

This car was featured in a Pontiac Calendar in 2014, and you will receive a copy if you would like one. Also featured on some dash plaques for shows in the area.

I encourage you to come inspect the car.
