1961 Pontiac Bonneville TRIPOWER CONVERTIBLE Description

This is a rare car. 1961 Bonneville Tripower convertible. Documented by Pontiac Historic Services this car came from the factoryequippedwith a 389 Tripower engine code I9 which is a 318 H.P. Tripower engine matched to a 4 speed automatic transmission. As well as power windows, power steering, power brakes, cruise control, power ant., bucket seats, reverse lights, reel out trunk light, reel out engine bay light and some other minor options... Some of the parts were removed before I bought this car almost 20 years ago now. I have not done anything in all that time so it is time to let it go to a new home and a new life. The power ant. is missing as well as pwindow regulators and cruise control and the seats are from a 62 (and drivers side seat is power). I do have a 61 tripower setup and 177 heads but will need another 1,000 if the new owner wants them-I probably have some more parts if you need anything else like factory 1961 buckets... I do have a set from another car but they are not cheap. The seats in the car could be made to work as they are complete. The numbers matching short block and transmission are still in the car. Everything is all still hooked up as it was when running. Looks like it had a leaky head gasket and one piston is damaged - still standard bore too!!! If you need a title for it I can get you a California title for an additional $250.00 takes only 3-4 weeks. Floors are excellent and the trunk pan is really not bad at all- does not need to be replaced! All side glass is good- needs a windshield. Please feel free to ask any questions.
