For auction is an absolutely beautiful 1970 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible -- restored to original condition, beautiful car!
Numbers matching engine, transmission and body -- all stock, no modifications. Original 350 V8 engine with completely rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission.
Locally owned in my area, always garaged and stored in climate controlled environment. Driven for pleasure only to area car shows and cruise ins, Adult owned, no smokers, no kids or pets -- complete pride of ownership. 126,540 original miles, clean Oregon title, original Pontiac owners manual, complete maintenance and repair documentation.
The car runs, drives, shifts and handles as new or better than new with new KYB shocks and tuned factory sway bar. Superb performance with lots of low-end torque. All components are in excellent operational order -- engine, transmission, brakes, lights, fan, heater, power top, windows, etc.
Stunning body and paint -- restored to original Granada Gold metallic color -- I am told that this was a limited production color from Pontiac and that relatively few cars came in this color. High dollar paint and prep work -- the car was completely stripped of all chrome, moldings and fenders before painting. Very clean undercarriage and wheel wells.
No body damage.
DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
BODY
Granada Gold Metallic. All chrome pieces are either original and in excellent condition or re-plated.
Trunk and engine compartment are in excellent stock condition with no rust or damaged areas. All body seams are tight, doors close perfectly with no hanging.
INTERIOR
Replaced correct deluxe camel-colored replacement interior including seat covers, door panels, and other components. Original dash, console and gauges all in excellent condition. Carpet may be original, its inn very good to excellent condition. Replaced rubber gaskets and felts on all doors, windows, all glass on the car is in excellent condition.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Original 350 V8 engine, numbers matching. No modifications, replaced components including timing belt, radiator, water pump, fuel pump, battery, alternator... Stock block, valve covers, manifolds and carburetor. Rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission.
TOP
Replaced correct factory original white top with heavy duty interior lining and glass rear window. Factory original camel-colored top boot. Top and mechanical frame are in excellent condition.
WHEELS, TIRES AND BRAKES
Restored to excellent condition original Rally II Pontiac wheels with center caps and chrome beauty rings.
New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, 225 x 14
