1974 Pontiac Trans Am Description

Up for sale is a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am Super Duty . Colors are Buccaneer red with special ordered white and black interior. Only 943 Super Duty's were built in 1974. A total of 1300 were made available to the public for the years 1973 and 1974. This Trans Am was entered into the SD 455 registry December 1995, having just 42k miles at that time. This Super Duty Trans Am, one of only 731 automatics produced, is a 44k mile, heavily documented, survivor car. Mostly original paint, very straight body, original interio, unrestored undercarriage, non undercoated, factory born body panels, original hand assembled super duty engine components. Has Gardner exhaust with factory style transverse muffler. Original owners manuals, warranty booklets, dealer shipping documents, dealer invoice, PHS documents, and previous owner history to be provided to the next owner. This Trans Am was sold new in Tampa Floida and remained inboth Florida and Georgia throughout its life. Undercarriage could use a good cleaning, but has not been touched up since new! Factory options include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, am fm radio, tinted glass, lamp group, front console, rear defrost, front and rear floor mats (still present inside the car) and rally wheels. Tilt steering wheel wasinstalled by one of previous owners. According to the paperwork I have received, I am the fifth owner. I am Trans Am enthusiast who truly enjoys these legendary cars. I have witnessed SD cars sell for much more that weren't as original nor documented. . 70s Trans Ams, have been and continue to be, one of the most recognized 70s collector muscle cars.
