Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very unique 1991 Porsche 928 S4 Wide body. Porsche rolled out the 928 in the late 1970s as their first front engine, V8 grand touring car. Initially the 928 was intended to replace the 911 as the flagship model, but ultimately the two models sold side by side until the mid 1990s when the 928 was discontinued. Over the years the 928 gained horsepower and by 1991 the 5.0 Liter V8 was good for 316 Horsepower. 0-60 MPH could be achieved in just 6.0 seconds which isn't too bad for a luxury GT car with full leather interior, state of the art stereo, climate control, and two back seats. This particular example sports the 4 speed automatic rear transaxle. The 1991 928 S4 is a powerful, well balanced, and luxurious machine. This particular example has had a noticeable upgrade in the form of a custom wide body kit. This kit, supplied by Koenig, gives the car an entirely different look by adding flared wheel arches, and custom front and rear valances. With this kit, this particular 928 stands out in a crowd of stock 928s. The car is finished in a bright white exterior which really shows of the bodylines. It sits on a set of high quality HSE wheels with a classic honeycomb pattern. The entire car right down to the dual chrome exhaust outlet says "look at me". The interior is classic German luxury. Black leather wraps comfortable bucket seats both front and rear. The rear seat occupants get climate control vents as well as fold down sun visors just like the front seat. Options include: Air conditioning, power seats, power windows, power sunroof, and Blaupunkt stereo with cassette player.
