1970 Porsche 911 Description

This is the 911E project you've been waiting for. Here we have a 1970 Porsche 911E Targa. The car is equipped with correct 911E Fuchs, factory leather steering wheel, nd Carello H4 headlights. The engine probably suffered a failure at some point and the case was replaced, t which time the engine stamping was also changed to indicate the replacement. Correct 911E MFI pump is still in place as well as the shroud and some of the other 911E specific components. I don't know when the engine was last run, nd it appears to be unhooked with some pieces misplaced. We don't have any other info on the engine outside of what you can see in the photos. The car does have rust issues, nd there are some holes in the outer body and under body, s well as evidence of poor floor repairs in the past. Please see photos for some examples of rust and repair. The paint is in poor condition. The seats do not have any tears in them, ut were recovered at some point. The removable targa top is a core at this point. We've seen 911E prices rising at a meteoric rate, on't miss this chance to get into a project before they're priced away from you.
