1989 Porsche 928 S4 Description

Up for auction is a 1989 Porsche 928 S4 model. The car has a clean California title and was smogged on 10/25/16 with flying colors. This Porsche has is automatic and has an impressive 293,000 miles on it but it feels and drives very well.
The motor runs smoothly with no abnormal noises or problems. This car has an impressive amount of power and has always been reliable. Looking back at the smog certificate it shows that the car passed way under any of California's stringent emission limits which shows that the car has a strong clean running engine with good compression. Brakes stop on the dime effortlessly and tires are new in rear with fronts having plenty of life left in them. The air conditioning and heater work flawless as well as the power windows, sunroof, power door locks and defrosters. Pop up headlights work great and open/retract problem-free. All lights work around the car and on the dash, car is nonstick and obtains it's original Blaupunkt tape player. In all honesty, I see issues with this Porsche driving across the country.
The exterior of the Porsche is Taubenblau Metallic Blue and has been painted once over. The body of the car is very straight with no dents or dings and is all original. The paint work is O.K. Daily driver quality with the top coat of painting fading on hood and roof.There is also a little bit of paint overspray on some of the weatherstripping as well assome clear coat drips by the driver mirror(see picture). The driver mirror's bracket seems detached and thefront upper windshield trim has some silicone on it from a poor installation of the new windshield. These are merely aesthetic flaws as the Porsche is watertight and does not leak water.
The interior of the car is light grey in color and is O.K. Daily driver quality with minor stains. The seat covers show some wear and tear but no rips and foam is nice and comfortable.
The car is very complete and includes even 3 of the 4 floor mats, spare tire and tools in the trunk. This Porsche is ready for a new owner and is a great candidate to restore or drive as is.
