Red Exterior with Black Leather Interior

This is a excellent opportunity to own a very good driver level 356 cabriolet at below market pricing.The car was owned by the same individual from 1980 until 2015 at which time it was sold to the current owner, ith only 67,800 miles showing on the odometer.It is believed that this is the correct mileage driven by referencing the numerous service and repair orders dating back to 1980 and discussion with the long term owner.

General

The car has been located in California and Colorado for the past 35 years and has received required and routine maintence during this time, s evidenced by the numerous work orders. The exterior was repainted from the original silver to signal red and the original engine was replaced by a period correct 1600 Super.

Body, aint and Trim

The body and panels apear to be in very good condition with no noticeable evidence of major collision or rust repairs. The floor pan, ongitudionals and battery floor appear to be original with no malor structural rust evident. The paint and trim are good to very good with minors chips and imperfections. The undercarriage and suspension recently received a detailing and cleaning. The floor pan appears to be original but shows the usual dents and lumps.

The body panel fit, aps and edges are very good.

Engine

The original Super engine, 705131, as replaced several years ago, ith P745513, hich was rebuilt at that time. There are no records to verify this but a recent leakdown showed 8 % to 10% loss. Weber carburetors were installed at some unknown time. The engine received a recent une up and runs very well.

The engine sheet metal and related components were recently re-painted and all hardware was cad plated to concours standards.

Transaxle

The transaxle shifts properly.

Interior and Glass

The leather seats, oor panels, op, ear seating area, un visors, arpets, arnish rails, nd dash cover appear to be original and are in very good condition. The windshield and side glass are in good condition. The gauges operate correctly. The seat hinge chrome plating is badly pitted.

Steering, uspension, ires and Brakes

The drum brake system was upgraded to a disc system by the second owner sometime in the 1970's and is in very good condition. The tires are in very good condition but are dated 2002 and should be replaced . The five 4 1/2 X 15 chrome wheels, re very good and are dated various years. The steering and front and rear suspension are in good condition.

Electrical

The lights and horns function properly.

Miscellaneous

The COA, artial tool kit and restored jack, wners manual and car cover are included. The car is located in Englewood, olorado and is available for inspection.
