History and condition: In the spring of 1979 the owner of this beautiful car sought out purchase a 911SC only to find nothing available. Dealers were taking '79 orders for 90 day delivery. He found a dealer in Tiburon, Ca, just north of SF that had a 78 SC that just came in from a one year lease with a unique and very appealing color - Light Green Metallic Clear coat L275. The first 20 years if ownership were in LA and since then the car has resided in in Ohio. No winter driving in Ohio and always stored from Nov to May. Has always been garaged and not smoked in. Had Carrera chain tensioners installed in app '87 and in '88. The front valance was up upgraded to an '84 Carrera valance and fog lights. Currently (since 199k miles) on third clutch. No major mechanical issues known - runs fine, starts immediately. Has some oil leaks (typical) and needs some new hoses (mostly air, some oil). Always used independent mechanics referred by Porsche Club members. He was a member of Porsche Club since the purchase in the Spring of '79. The car currently has 214k on the odometer.

The interior if beautiful however the exterior has some paint and rust issues. Please see the photos. They appear to be more surface than structural.

This is a nice example of a well maintained, highly sought after Coupe with a rare paint code. Sounds great! Runs and shifts great.
