I've decided to part with my very well-sorted, non-original hot rod 911 built from a very nice low mileage 1983 Cabriolet. The heart of the car is a 1991 3.6l engine using a Steve Timmons conversion kit, Patrick flywheel, 993 Heat exchangers (back dated heat with footwell blowers), dual Carrera oil coolers and a Steve Wong chip. This is a very strong combination as the car has plenty of power (much more torque than a 3.0). Engine tin and fan were powder coated. The interior is from a 993 with a rear seat delete, 930 steering wheel, 996 stereo and 964 gauges. Wheels are genuine RUF speed lines (8 inch in front and 9 inch in rear) with new tires. The fuse panel has been upgraded to blade style fuses. Rear deck lid from 964 with functioning spoiler. Seine gated shifter and many other upgrades. I have owned this car for over 12 years.
I have taken this car on several trips >200 miles this year and even had the car at the Amelia Island Werks Reunion in March. The car is very reliable and comfortable to drive. I used all Porsche parts to build the car that I wanted!
I am asking $58,000 for the car. You would have a hard time duplicating this car for that price. Please ask any questions you might have and the car can be seen in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
